Our Vision

Like generations of Jewish leftists before us, we fight for the liberation of all people. We believe that through organizing, we will dismantle the institutions and systems that maintain injustice, and — in their place — grow something new, beautiful and life-sustaining.

We envision Palestinians thriving from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, living with their inalienable rights respected, rebuilding school and homes and replanting olive groves. We imagine the bustle of liberated cities and villages. We envision the apartheid wall in pieces on free Palestinian soil. We envision Israeli prisons emptied. We envision Palestinian refugees returning to their ancestral lands and reuniting with their families and communities.

Zionism elevates Jewish safety and life above those of others, and is antithetical to that vision. We imagine Jewish Israelis recognizing that their own freedom is bound up in dismantling Zionism and joining with Palestinians to build a decolonized society rooted in human rights rather than oppression, equality rather than supremacy, dignity rather than domination and democracy rather than dispossession. A society where every life is precious.

We know that a just society can only take root in the firmament of accountability, material redistribution and reparations. This repair must begin with holding the U.S. and Israeli governments as well as their institutions, corporations and political leaders accountable for their commission of and complicity in the crimes against humanity of apartheid and genocide. We envision a reckoning, in our own Jewish communities, for those institutions who supported and materially facilitated apartheid and genocide.

We imagine Jewish Zionist institutions supplanted by the proliferation of liberatory Jewish culture, art, practice, ritual and liturgy. We envision our communities beginning to heal from the way Zionism and white supremacy diluted and erased many of our diasporic histories, languages and traditions.

We picture all of this knowing that a free Palestine will make more freedom possible everywhere. We envision a world where communities have what they need instead of billionaires having all they can take. We imagine indigenous sovereignty guiding us toward a sustainable planet rather than endless extraction from a planet on fire. We imagine our taxpayer dollars funding education, housing and health care instead of the violence of policing, borders and Forever Wars.

We know that movements built in solidarity across differences are the building blocks of liberation. We see anti-Zionist Jews rising alongside our neighbors everywhere until we win a world where all people have what they need to live and flourish in justice and freedom.
