G4S Divestment Campaign (2016)
JVP’s North Carolina chapter, working in a coalition of faith groups, social Justice organizers, students and peace activists, won a landmark victory when Durham County became the first U.S. municipality to drop G4S because of its role in perpetuating injustice in the US and in Palestine.
The Gates Foundation and Methodist Church followed suit within a year.
