- Over 68,400 English-language media hits for “Jewish Voice for Peace” were printed (compared to approximately 2,500 the previous year).
- 150 articles appeared in the New York Times that mentioned or featured Jewish Voice for Peace. In addition, Jewish Voice for Peace was featured 49 times in the Washington Post, 84 times in the Guardian, and 61 times in the Los Angeles Times.
- Many articles describing JVP’s largest demonstrations were shared thousands of times, including:
- the Washington Post article describing the first rotunda action in Capitol Hill (2,300 shares)
- the New York Times article describing JVP’s takeover of Grand Central Station (1,700 shares)
- JVP Director of Organizing Strategy Elena Stein’s opinion piece in the Guardian on JVP’s Wall Street protest (1,900 shares)
Some articles in progressive media outlets were also shared widely, including:
- “The Jewish Justice Movement is Being Reborn” in the Nation by Dave Zirin (1,000 shares)
