One year into its genocide of Palestinians, the Israeli government is waging a campaign of terror and destruction that has brought the entire region ever closer to a state of all-out war. This is where impunity leads.

We have watched as Palestinians in Gaza livestream the genocide being carried out against them, meticulously documenting the indiscriminate bombing of refugee camps and hospitals, starvation, and the spread of eradicated diseases like polio.

There is no question of what needs to be done: The only way to prevent even more death and devastation is for the U.S. government to stop arming Israel.

“As a Jewish person who lost family in the Holocaust, never again means never again for anyone. I’m also shaped by a Jewish tradition of solidarity and internationalism. Anti-war protesters call for arms embargo, cease-fire in Israel at State House ahead of DNC, The Boston Globe, August 18, 2024.

“I was born in the aftermath of one Holocaust, and I feel like now the arch of my life is that I’m fighting against another genocide. Why are we spending $20 billion more to bomb people who are just trying to live their lives, and not spending that money to give to people here what they need to live a life of dignity?”
