Microsoft / #DropAnyVision (2020)
We successfully campaigned for Microsoft to divest from AnyVision, an Israeli facial recognition startup. Anyvision’s technology was used to surveil Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank.
JVP along with coalition partners MPower Change, Sum of Us, and AFSC gathered over 70,000 signatures in opposition, leading to Microsoft divesting millions of dollars from the startup.
