For years, JVP supported principled Christians who were working in their faith communities to pass divestment resolutions. We organized with Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians and the United Church of Christ, among others. In doing that work we developed a program for interfaith organizing and co-resistance.

Throughout our organizing, several large Christian denominations passed divestment resolutions, including Presbyterians, Methodists and Unitarian Universalists. One major win occured in June 2014, when the Presbyterian Church (USA) decided to divest from Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard, and Motorola Solutions.
