UN Security Council Resolution 237, June 1967

Recommends to the parties involved in the 1967 conflict to respect the Geneva Convention principles regarding treatment of prisoners of war and protection of civilian persons; specifically calls on Israel to ensure the safety, welfare and security of the inhabitants of the areas where military operations have taken place and to facilitate the return of those inhabits who have fled the areas since the outbreak of hostilities.  For the full text, click here.
