Jewish Voice for Peace is a diverse and democratic community of activists inspired by Jewish tradition to work together for peace, social justice, and human rights. We support the aspirations of Israelis and Palestinians for security and self-determination, as well as equal rights for all Israeli citizens.

Jewish Voice for Peace-Seattle is building an inclusive, vibrant Jewish community where there is space for secular, religious, multiracial, and queer Jews. In working against the occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem, we are refusing to let the policies of the Israeli and U.S. governments speak for us. We are committed to fighting anti-Jewish oppression and anti-Arab racism, including racism within Jewish communities against Mizrahi, Sephardi, Ethiopian, and all Jews of color.

By connecting spirituality and politics in Jewish rituals and holidays, we are creating new traditions that allow us to bring our whole selves to our political work. Promoting Jewish visibility in social justice movements, we are committed to working in coalition with other local groups, including Jewish, anti-occupation, and other progressive groups and communities.
