Jewish Voice for Peace-Chicago
 |
| JVP-Chicago at the JVP National Meeting, April 2007 |
Our group started in November, 2000 as Not In My Name, a predominantly Jewish group dedicated to working for a just peace between Israelis and Palestinians. We believe that the first step towards attaining this peace must be for Israel to end its 40-year-old Occupation of the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem. In December of 2005, we joined Jewish Voice for Peace. We look forward to collaborating with our JVP colleagues from all over the country and around the world to change U.S. policies that support the Occupation. If you live in the Chicagoland area, we hope you will join us in working locally and nationally on this important cause. For more on the history of the group, look at www.nimn.org.
Sounds great! How can I get involved??
