| Members of JVP-Detroit demonstrate for peace in the Middle East. |
Jewish Voice for Peace-Detroit We are a predominantly Jewish peace group based in the metro-Detroit area, dedicated to supporting the aspirations of
Israelis and Palestinians for security, self-determination and peaceful co-existence. Our
activities are focused on events and programs which help to:
- Provide an alternative Jewish voice, one not often heard: for peace, equality, democracy, and human rights for all Israelis and all Palestinians, with respect for international law.
- End the Occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza.
- End U.S. military aid to Israel until the Occupation ends.
- Increase awareness about current conditions in Israel-Palestine and history of the area.
We condemn all acts of violence against civilians, be they Palestinian or Israeli.
